The Lighthouse - Ensemble Media

The Lighthouse is an experimental short dance film that follows Muriel and her group of friends as they venture to explore a haunted lighthouse on the Washington coast. What begins as an innocent and lighthearted adventure turns into an eerie and life altering chain of events.

Premiering on February 13th at Chapel Theatre.

Long before Valentine’s Day became a celebration of romance, it was rooted in a story of quiet defiance, bravery, and love found in dark places. Jaren is the filmmaker and photographer behind Ensemble Media. He has a passion for supporting local artists and arts organizations through the use of film and photography. Jaren thrives in a collaborative environment and is always experimenting with new ways to approach the filmmaking process. They begin every project with ethical collaboration at the center, ensuring everyone on the team has agency and voice throughout the production.
